La fondazione ha lo scopo di permettere ai membri della congregazione "Figlie di Santa Maria della Provvidenza in Roma" il proprio perfezionamento attraverso opere di carità e pietà cristiana in favore del bisognosi di cura ed assistenza, attinenti o domiciliati nel Cantone dei Grigioni, altri non esclusi qualora le contingenze lo permettessero, senza distinzione di religione, nazionalità, età o sesso.
