Verleihung Europäischer Preise an Personen, Gruppierungen oder Institutionen, die sich durch hervorragende Leistungen auf künstlerischem Gebiet (Musik, bildende, darstellende und zirzensische Kunst), ferner auf sozialem oder religiösem Gebiet einer solchen Europäischen Auszeichnung und Herausstellung würdig gemacht haben. Die Stiftung kann neben kulturellem Engagement und ausgewiesener Leistung auch besonderes Talent fördern. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit findet die Förderung behinderter und sozial benachteiligter Personen.
