Die Stiftung fördert das Verständnis, das Interesse, die Kenntnis und das Studium der Biologie dieser Pflanzen in der Öffentlichkeit und sorgt für die Weiterführung des Herbariums und der Bibliothek Jany Renz als wissenschaftliche Sammlung von internationaler Bedeutung.
