Company Purpose

Der Verein ist eine Selbsthilfeorganisation von Eltern blinder, seh- und mehrfach behinderter Kinder sowie weiteren Eltern, die Dienstleistungen des Vereins in Anspruch nehmen. Er fördert die Erziehung und die bestmögliche schulische und berufliche Integration dieser Kinder. Der Verein verfolgt seinen Zweck u.a. durch: a) Beratung und Unterstützung der Eltern und Bezugspersonen, Erfahrungsaustausch und Veranstaltungen; b) Information der Eltern und Kontakthilfe zu Behörden, Schulen, Spitälern etc.; c) Führung von Kindertagesstätten (Kinderhaus Imago) für Kinder mit und ohne Handicap und einer Tagesschule für blinde, seh- und mehrfach behinderte Kinder und weiteren Dienstleistungsangeboten; d) Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, Mittelbeschaffung, Zusammenarbeit mit Behindertenorganisationen sowie Förderung und Schaffung neuer Einrichtungen. Der Verein ist parteipolitisch und konfessionell neutral. Er verfolgt keine kommerziellen Zwecke understrebt keinen Gewinn.
